Something you need to know . . . Emmaus and Chrysalis is NOT a church.
These
international
organizations were created to strengthen the local church by creating strong
Christian leaders
who are devoted to sharing the Love of Jesus Christ and assisting the clergy
to build the
Kingdom of God.

*** EVERYONE PLEASE READ: OHIO VALLEY EMMAUS
BYLAWS ***
The Ohio Valley Emmaus Board has appointed a committee to update the
By-Laws and Standing Rules of the Ohio Valley Emmaus Community.
With the help of Emmaus Regional Representative, Cathi Eberly and Emmaus
Regional Clergy Representative, Carl Wiggins, we have completed the
update and are now presenting it to the Community. These
amendments have been unanimously approved by the Board, and we are
circulating them to the community members. Please read these
By-Laws and Standing Rules, making
note especially of Article IX, Section 2. If there are no
objections from the Community, they will be formally adopted. If
you have any questions, you may call Gary Edgar at 740-732-5027, or
Pastor David Mansperger at 740-432-4141.
GATHERINGS
Gatherings are just that - monthly gatherings
of those who've been on
Emmaus Walks and Chrysalis Flights. However, everyone is
welcome at these monthly meetings, including friends, family
and guests!

SUPPLIES NEEDED
We are in need of the following supplies
for the upcoming Walks:
- Scotch tape
- pipe cleaners
- construction paper
- 2 boxes of commercial (contractor's) garbage bags
- large napkins
If you can help in purchasing these supplies, or if you have any other
supplies that we might be able to use during our Emmaus weekends, please
contact Supplies Chair, Tammy Rogers, at 740-765-5185.

EMMAUS COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Ohio Valley Emmaus offers an outreach service to
churches in our community who are interested in learning more about what
we do at Emmaus. Our Outreach Committee is available to conduct
full or partial church services, and we are also willing to come to
church board meetings to talk about Emmaus. For more information,
